- After finally getting used to his role as the husband of a pregnant woman, Brantley's role suddenly changed to that of a father. While he remains suspicious of navel-gazing blogs (especially those who seek to elevate the mundane to the extraordinary merely by describing the mundane as if it were extraordinary), he wants to ensure he remembers the details of this time of his and his daughter's life. Typing his personal thoughts and uploading them to a remote Google server at an unknown location for potentially everyone on the planet to read seems like a perfectly natural way to accomplish that goal.
